After-School Club Manager 

Isleworth Explorers is a privately funded charity that provides After School care for children attending local schools and runs youth club sessions in the evening. We are currently recruiting an After School Club Manager who will ensure the smooth running of the club, and manage the team of friendly staff. 

Duties

• Responsible for the day to day running of the After School Club
• Arrange for safe collection of children from local schools (making use of the two mini buses we have)
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations
• Apply working knowledge of EYFS regulations (e.g. observations, activity planning)
• Organise activities for the After-School Club
• Assist in managing meal time with the children
• Maintain administration including:
  • payments
  • daily pick up lists
  • registration forms
  • incident forms
  • sign in sheets
  • staff records
• Ensure policies are adhered to by all members of staff
• Maintain and update policies accordingly
• Supervise After-School Club staff
• Supervise children
• Recruit staff
• Arrange cover for staff when necessary

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of NVQ level 3 in childcare or other relevant area
• Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted compliance
• Ability to work on their own initiative
• Excellent communicator
• A love of working with children 

Desirable Requirements

• Paediatrics First Aid Trained (if not you will need to complete the necessary course)
• Enhanced CRB (you will need to complete a CRB which is specific to our setting)
• Eligibility to drive a minibus (if you had entitlement to drive cars before 1 January 1997 you are automatically eligible to drive a mini-bus)  

Working Hours:  

16 hour week - 3.pm - 6p.m. Monday to Friday, with an additional 1 hour for administration
